This class meets on three successive weeknights for two hours. It allows us to cover MIG, (Gmaw, Fcaw) in more detail than the Welding For Noobs, (3 hours) but not nearly as much as the Welding 101 which meets on weekends. Welding several days in a row helps develop muscle memory quickly.

About the Event
This is an opportunity to learn more about MIG welding. It is helpful to take welding for Noobs first. See tickets for dates and times.
- We will weld with MIG machines and Gas Shielded and Flux core welding.
- You can bring in your own MIG machine, please arrive 15 minutes early if you do.
- We will perform destructive weld testing in this class so that you can test the strength of your welds.
- We will work with both light and heavy industrial equipment.
- Class size is small, we may explore other areas of interest depending on the interests of the attendees.
- You could continue with welding 101 after this series.
- Welding is a combination of technical comprehension and fine motor control. Practice and repetition are both absolute requirements to attain skill as a welder.
This is an excellent follow-up if you have taken the Welding for Noobs.
Many of our clients have obligations on the weekend during the summer, we are offering this class in this time period for this reason.
